I sure am one of those mammies that does not like to give the sugar laden Icepops to her children 🙂 Call me weird or over the top but if I can help it I wont give them to my children. The problem is: they absolutely LOVE them. They love the idea of just squeezing the yummy iciness up the tube and eat it all up. I have tried the Ice-Lolly Moulds… but no joy. It’s like they KNOW it’s too healthy,” I wont touch that” haha.

So when I had finished making the “mixture” and poured them into the tubes (I should really buy a funnel LOL), I put them upright into a little plastic cup and into the freezer…
The following day … as ever… my son started saying ” Oh mammy… I’m too hot … I think I absolutely have to have an Icepop” 🙂
The perfect moment to try them out… I opened the ziplock part & warmed the icepop a little with my hands. I have to admit I did expect the frozen fruit to get stuck on the way up past the ziplock but to my surprise it didn’t, and I handed it over.
He thought they were the “yummiest Icicles EVER!”

On the zipzicle website they also have adult recipes, such as a Mocha Espresso Pop & a Strawberry Daiquiri Pop… I’ll totally try those next 😀
